The Liberty Community Chorus invites you to join in celebrating the marriage of poetry and music when the present “Verse & Song” April 30th at 7:30 pm in Gano Chapel at William Jewell College. Narrated by noted Kansas City actor Robert Brand, the program includes poems by Teasdale, Shakespeare and Burns which have been wonderfully interpreted into song by composers such as Dickau, Mulholland and Stopford. Tickets for the concert can be purchased online, from any of our singers or at the door.

A non auditioned group wrapping up their 9th year the Liberty Community Chorus offers a unique opportunity for singers aged 16 and up to continue to enjoy and learn the art of choral music while sharing a diverse repertoire with the audience. In addition to their regular concert season the Chorus as appeared as guest artists at the Jewish Community Center, Northwest Missouri State University, The Liberty Fall Fest and with the Liberty Symphony.
