LCC-Liberty Community Chorus || Singers


	The Chorus warmly welcomes new singers and does not require an audition. Because the organization strives to attain the highest possible level of excellence in performance its members are expected to diligently attend rehearsals and model a professional attitude for other singers.
	Membership: The Liberty Community Chorus is open to singers who are at least 16 years old. Though no auditions are currently required, new singers should have some music reading skills. The attendance policy for rehearsals and concerts will be established before the first rehearsal. The Liberty Community Chorus Chamber Singers are a 16 member auditioned ensemble made of up singers from the main Chorus. Auditions for Chamber Singers are held the August before the kick off of the Fall Season.
	Singer Fees: Singer’s fees are used to help pay for music, programs, advertising as well as honorariums for the director and accompanist. All fees are tax deductible. The fee for adults is $45 per season(Fall and Spring) for Chorus members and $55.00 for Chamber Singers. Discounted fees are available if dues are paid for both seasons at once. The fee for full-time high school and college students is $10 per season. Scholarships are available for those in financial need, on a case-by-case basis, from the Board of Directors. A scholarship form is available from the director or choir officers. Singer fees are due at the first rehearsal of the season. Please make out checks to the Liberty Community Chorus.
	Music: Kristen Uhlman, the chorus’ librarian, has the daunting task of organizing our music, and she needs your help. Some of our music is borrowed from schools and churches so please mark your scores with a pencil and treat it gently. Each singer will receive a music packet at the beginning of each season. Each singer also will receive a number for the music. When you get the music in the manila envelope, please compare the scores with the detailed repertoire list that also is included. Please use this envelope to hand in your music immediately after our concert. The singer is responsible for the cost of replacing any music that is not returned.
