The Liberty Community Chorus is thrilled to welcome internationally-renowned, Kansas City-based composer and conductor Mark Hayes to direct us in performing a sampling from his extensive catalog of sacred and secular music. Known for a uniquely American sound that draws from gospel, jazz, pop, folk, and classical styles, Mark Hayes’s mission is to “create beautiful music for the world.” He and his music have traveled the globe fulfilling that mission, and Kansas City is fortunate to call him one of our own.
