Celebrate Christmas with the Liberty Community Chorus and Liberty North High School Concert Choir for an afternoon of festive Christmas music that spans centuries.
The Liberty Community Chorus program includes Handel’s “And the Glory of the Lord” from Messiah, alongside contemporary pieces including Eric Whitacre’s “Glow,” Ola Gjeilo’s serene “Ecce Novum,” and Daniel Brinsmead’s “Welcome In.” We will also share arrangements of classic carols, including Elaine Hagenberg’s arrangement of the “Sussex Carol,” Mack Wilberg’s “O Holy Night” and two settings by Dan Forrest: “Angels from the Realms of Glory” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
The Liberty North Concert Choir will join the Liberty Community Chorus for a collaborative performance of Elaine Hagenberg’s “Love’s Pure Light.”
